About the project

Many people play team sports but end up leaving their team because of lack of time, work or a move to another city, and then find it hard to get back into the game in a place where they know nobody. At the same time, clubs and groups have a changing number of members and need to recruit players for different disciplines.

Sport Match is a mobile app that connects athletes and teams, all sports in one place. The MVP covers a player or team profile, a connection flow with filters by sport, location, level, match type and position, ratings after each match and a pre-match chat to sort out doubts before meeting.

The process included user personas, benchmarking of similar apps, a card sorting survey to organize the sports (71.4% of respondents practice more than one discipline), a user flow, a moodboard and UI kit, and a usability test whose conclusions led to restructuring the top bar and adding a bottom bar with the main features. You can try the prototype below.
